CONFIRMED: Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro to be Announced 5th of November

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro smartphone will be announced in China on November 5th, 2019, which is about a week from today. According to the news, the company will also release new Mi Watch and Mi TV series, alongside the Mi CC 9 Pro.

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will be the world’s first smartphone with 108MP 1/1.33-inch Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX  sensor to go on sale. Don’t forget that the Mi MIX Alpha, a concept phone that was introduced last month, also has 108-megapixel sensor, but will not go on sale until the end of December, 2019.

The major selling point of the Mi CC9 Pro, will be the camera setups. The device is said to come with 5-rear camera sensor at the back, with the main sensor being a whooping 108-megapixel, soured from Samsung. The sensor uses Tetracell technology allowing the it to imitate big-pixel sensors, producing brighter 27MP images with supports for a four-in-one Super Pixel to produce large 1.6μm pixels under low-light conditions.

According to Xiaomi CEO, the photo above is only 0.8% of an image shot on the Mi CC9 Pro zoomed in partially. But in-spite being just 0.8% of the entire shot, we can still notice few details in the objects’ Eyeballs. This shows the window in the eyes, sky and clouds outside the window, and there was a person by the window, as if looking out the window, and before him, there is the photographer.

The text next to the camera module reads 5X optical zoom, other source has also claimed that the phone could support 10x hybrid zoom. The other four camera sensors could includes a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, a ToF sensor and a macro lens sensor.

As for other specification of the device, user can expect a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, similar to the standard Mi CC9, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G CPU, 4500mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

Xiaomi Smart Watch and Mi TV series also expected

As mentioned above, the launch event will also bring latest series of Xiaomi Mi Smart Watches and Mi TV series. The Mi Smart Watch will have two versions and will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear processor, support ESIM card, 4G network and multi-function NFC. At the same time, it will also have a built-in Xiao Ai intelligent voice assistant to run the Android Wear OS system.

As for the Mi TV-series, Xiaomi has said the new Mi TV 5 series will bring a breakthrough in picture quality and more unexpected surprises, which should include narrower bezels and up to 4K display resolution.
