Nokia has just released its latest rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR21 as the successor to the company’s XR20 announced back in 2021. The device comes with IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating its resistance to a wide range of harsh environments such as water, dirt, and high pressure.
The Nokia XR21 features a 6.49-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with Gorilla Glass Victus for added protection. The front camera is a 16MP shooter with an f/2.5 aperture, while the back features a dual-camera setup with a 64MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide snapper.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Google Android 12 and is promised four years of monthly security updates and three main Android OS upgrades.
The Nokia XR21 has a 4800mAh battery with 33W charging support, ensuring that it can last throughout the day. The smartphone is available in Midnight Black and Pine Green colors and is priced at GBP 499 in the UK. Other regional availability is still unknown.
