Since the 2021 release of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Z Fold series has not had a battery improvement. In response, the company stated that the only people requesting a bugger battery were Galaxy Z Flip owners.
Fans of the Galaxy Z Fold, however, had other expectations. A bigger cover screen, a lighter and smaller design, and an enhanced camera system were among the elements they gave priority to. Therefore, we may presume that Samsung’s main goal this year was to make the Galaxy Z Fold 7 slimmer, which is why there was no significant battery adjustment. Samsung is at least catching up in terms of design, even though it still lags behind Chinese rivals with even slimmer designs and larger batteries.
In order to store greater density batteries without making its devices thicker, the business would need to start employing the more recent silicon carbon anode batteries. Samsung is probably waiting for battery technology to advance before making the change, taking caution in the wake of its notorious Galaxy Note 7 battery fire issues.
