Doogee has just announced the release of its latest smartphone, the DOOGEE S100. It is equipped with MediaTek Helio G99, has a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
The smartphone runs on Android 12 and features a triple camera with a 108 million-pixel main camera, a 64 million-pixel night vision camera, and a 16 million-pixel wide-angle camera.
One of the key features of the DOOGEE S100 is its 10,800mAh high-capacity battery that supports 66W quick charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone is also waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof, with an IP68/IP69K rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The smartphone features a USB Type-C connection terminal, stereo speakers, and fingerprint and face authentication. The DOOGEE S100 is available in Classic Black, Cyber Yellow, and Ice Blue, and it will start selling via Aliexpress before the month of February 2023 is over. However, the price of the smartphone is yet to be known.
In terms of specifications, the DOOGEE S100 has a Mali-G57 GPU, a 120Hz display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and Gorilla Glass5 protection. It has a 32 million-pixel front camera, is compatible with microSD cards up to 2TB, and supports dual nano-SIM cards, OTG, VC liquid cooling, NFC, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n.
Although you are getting a fingerprint scanner as well as FaceID, however, no 3.5mm audio jack is available on the phone. The smartphone’s durability and battery capacity make it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and those who require a reliable device for their day-to-day use. But what will determine how well the S100 will fair amidst other rugged smartphones out there will highly depend on the final price tag.
