UMIDIGI has just announced three new smartphones in its G3 series, namely UMIDIGI G3, G3 Plus, and G3 Max. All three devices are powered by Google’s Android 13 OS out of the box, and all models will be available for purchase this May, via Aliexpress.
UMIDIGI G3
The UMIDIGI G3 features a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB using a dedicated microSD card slot.
It sports a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP selfie camera. The phone packs a non-removable 5150mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 10W.
UMIDIGI G3 Plus
The UMIDIGI G3 Plus shares the same design as the G3, with a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display, but with a higher storage capacity of 128GB and powered by a UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset.
The camera setup includes a 16MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera is an 8MP shooter. It also comes with a non-removable 5150mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
UMIDIGI G3 Max
Lastly, the UMIDIGI G3 Max has a larger 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the same UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset found in the G3 Plus. However, the RAM has increased to 8GB, while the 128GB of internal storage is retained.
The camera setup includes a 16MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor, and the front camera is an 8MP shooter. It packs a non-removable 5100mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.
Pricing and availability
One silent differences between the three devices though is their color options. While the vanilla G3 and the G3 Plus is available in Lavender Purple, Graphite Black, and Dark Green colors, the G3 Max is painted in Premium Orange, Midnight Blue, and Iceland Blue colors. All three models will go on sales this May via Aliexpress, but their actual pricing is not yet stated.
