Honor Magic5 Lite 5G goes on sales in France ahead of official launch

The Honor Magic5 Lite 5G smartphone has made its way to stores in France, where it is available for purchase even ahead of its official announcement. This smartphone is a close replica of the Honor X9a and the Honor X40 smartphone sold in Africa and China respectively, although with slight camera alterations.

In terms of specifications, the Honor Magic5 Lite 5G is a good mid-range smartphone with a strong emphasis on the screen and battery. It is powered by the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, along with Adreno 619 GPU.

On the storage front, the device is available with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Unfortunately, the device does not support memory cards. However, there is an 8 + 256GB storage variant for those who may be needing ample storage option.

The screen of the Honor Magic5 Lite 5G is a ten-bit AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 1080×2400. The screen has strong rounded edges, and tiny notch on the head and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The battery capacity of the Honor Magic5 Lite 5G is slightly above average, with a capacity of 5100mAh, along with 40W fast charging.

The Honor Magic5 Lite 5G features a 16 MP front camera and three rear cameras with resolutions of 64 + 5 + 2 MP. There is an NFC module available, but no standard audio output. The device supports 5G networks, Type-C, and dual-band Wi-Fi, and it also has a fingerprint scanner built into the screen.

The cost of the Honor Magic5 Lite 5G in France is €379, an equivalent of $406. It is available in Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Titanium Silver. The device is based on Google Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 out of the box.
