A new Huawei phone with model number BRE-AL00a has been spotted in China’s certification database, hinting at an imminent release. The phone’s TENAA’s renders has also been leaked, revealing a design that includes a dual-curved OLED display and a centered circular camera module on the back. This suggests that Huawei is bringing high-end design elements to a more affordable phone.
The leaked specifications of the BRE-AL00a are impressive, considering it is expected to be a mid-range phone. The phone will reportedly sport a powerful 2.3GHz octa-core processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The display is a large 6.78-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 and supports 10-bit color depth. The phone will also have an under-screen fingerprint reader for added security.
In terms of cameras, the BRE-AL00a is said to have a rear-facing dual-camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front-facing camera for selfies is rated at 8MP. The phone packs a beefy 6000mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging.
