Back in the early days of June, Infinix announced that she was working with MediaTek to debut world first smartphone that will be powered by Helio G99 SoC. Well, that smartphone might go official today, along with the Infinix Note 12 Pro 5G.
Recall that Infinix has officially confirmed that she will be announcing the Note 12 5G series in Indian today. But as per our gatherings, the announcement today will be better tagged Infinix Note 12 Pro series, instead of Note 12 5G series.
This is because two smartphones might be going official today, and both will come under the Note 12 Pro series. There will be the Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G, and the Note 12 Pro 5G version. The later will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G Chipset, while the former will get the latest Helio G99 CPU from MediaTek.
These two smartphones will share most of their specifications. For example, both will get a 6.7-inches AMOLED screen with a dewdrop notch on the head and an FHD+ panel, both will get a triple camera setup on the rear with a 108-megapixel primary lens, and both will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The major difference between the two will lie in their processing power and a slight rear camera module redesign. The Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G version will get Helio G99, while the Note 12 Pro 5G model will get Dimensity 810 CPU.
Also, the Pro 4G will come in three colors, and will get 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, while the Pro 5G will be available in two color options, with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Both phones should boot Google Android 12 with XOS 10.6 out of the box.
