Samsung have just announced a brand new entry-level smartphone in Nigeria. The device, called the Galaxy A3 Core come with basic specifications, run on Google Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box and priced @N35,000 Nigerian Naira. It is actually the successor of the Galaxy A2 Core, announced back in April of 2019.
It has similar specification with Galaxy A01 core, and comes in 5.3-inches with 720 x 1480 pixels. The display panel is Samsung PLC touch panel, and come with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The device does not have any pop, punch or notch, hence has a notable bezels below and above the screen where the selfie camera is kept.
Talking about camera, the Samsung Galaxy A3 Core comes with a 5-megapixel selfie snapper upfront, and a single 8-megapixel main camera at the back, featuring a single LED flash, F/2.2 aperture and 1080p@30fps video recording.
Powering the device is a 1.5GHz quad-core CPU from Mediatek, along with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage, expandable upto 512GB via SD card. The device support dual nano-SIMs with 4G LTE network, has 3000mAh battery and run on Google Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box.
