Lenovo has announced a wide variety of their devices at the YOGA x Xiaoxin spring product launch event in China. At this event, one of the products announced by the tech company was the Lenovo YOGA 5G. Already available in multiple global markets, this device is also known as Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5G. The newly launched Lenovo YOGA 5G is an elegant convertible laptop with 5G connectivity. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx (SC8180X) ARM SoC paired with 512GB UFS 3.0 and 8GB 4266MHz LPDDR4X RAM storage.
The notebook features a 14-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), 400 nits peak brightness, 72% NTSC color gamut,16:9 aspect ratio, and DC dimming. This device also has a 10-point multi-touch display that can be rotated by up to 360° to suit what you want. It also supports stylus input with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
This brand-new notebook sports dual-band WIFI on the connectivity and ports front. It also has Bluetooth 5.0, SIM card slot, 5G, 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort), and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Some other exciting features of this device are; the metal unibody design, 2 x 2W (4W) speakers, fingerprint sensor, the 720p infrared webcam for Windows Hello face authentication system14.7mm thickness, and its lightweight of 1.35Kg.
Notably, the Lenovo YOGA 5G runs Microsoft Windows 10 Home for ARM. It is backed by a 60Whr battery and also comes in just a Space Gray color option.
In China, this Lenovo device is priced at ¥9,999, which is equivalent to 1,540 USD. The device is currently available for pre-order and is scheduled to go on sale from the 1st of May.
