Among the smart devices announced by realme today is also a full fledged tablet; a 10.4-inches pad powered by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU. The other two gadgets introduced includes the Realme 8i and the Realme 8S 5G. The tablet is actually the first from the company, but it seems to be targeted at the mid-range folks, than the super high end flagship class.

The Pad has a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display with 2000 x 1200 pixel and above 82% screen-to-body ratio. On the inside, the tab is powered by Helio G80 CPU from MediaTek, has 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of built-in storage.

The model has a single 8-megapixel front and back camera, and there are about four loud speakers kept on the four corners of the tablet. This speakers can output Hi-Res Audio using Dolby Atmos and Adaptive Surround Sound.

The device is only a 6.9mm thick, and weigh around 440 grams, yet, there is a fairly large 7100mAh battery with 18W fast charging on the inside. The tab runs Google Android 11 with realme UI for Pad out of the box.

The model has option for 4G LTE network, support Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C. It is available in Real Grey and Real Gold colors, and priced as follows:

  • 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM (Wi-Fi only) = Rs. 13,999 or $190 US Dollars
  • 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM (4G Model) = Rs. 15,999 or $217 US Dollars
  • 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM (4G Model) = Rs. 17,999 or $245 US Dollars

As for availability, while the Wi-Fi only model is said to be available soon, the 4G LTE model will start selling on Flipkart and Realme.com starting September 16.
