Mi 11T and 11T Pro are coming; up to SD888 and 5000mAh battery expected

The next major deal of smartphone launch to expect from Xiaomi will be the Mi 11T and the Mi 11T Pro, both of which are expected as the successor to the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro of last year. Well, if Xiaomi is to apply same principle on the last year’s model with these upcoming ones, it means the Mi 11T and it bigger brother will be the cheaper variant of the standard Xiaomi Mi 11.

Xiaomi Mi 11

As per reports by The Pixel’s YouTube channel, published in foreign language, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro will have a metal frame, but with plastic back panel. This is to help keep the overall cost of the phone low, while being durable as much as possible, but the screen will retain same one-sided notch seen on the vanilla Mi 11.

The report further claims that the Pro model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, while the standard Mi 11T will be powered by Dimensity 1200 CPU from MediaTek.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro

According to the report, you may expect AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rating, but don’t expect the same camera specs on the Mi 11, probably the Mi 11 Lite 5G will be a good expectation. But the phones will offer 5000mAh battery with up to 120W fast charger on the Pro version, and Google Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 will be available out of the box. The phone should be announced within September.
