MIUI 12.5 is an updated version of MIUI 12 which is the operating system of Xiaomi Mobile. This is an improvement for devices already running the MIUI 12 on them. For all devices that are eligible for this update, the new upgrade has been available to them. Fewer than a day ago, up to 4 devices from Xiaomi have been receiving the new MIUI 12.5 upgrade.
There are three brands that are under the Xiaomi corporation smartphones. They include Xiaomi Mi, POCO and Redmi. Four smartphones all under these three brands have begun to receive the updates. The four phones are Mi 10 Lite 5G, Redmi Note 9 5G, POCO F3 and Mi 11 Lite 5G.
Also, the update is available for different region variants of each phone. For example, Mi 10 Lite 5G’s update is available globally. Mi 11 Lite 5G’s update is available only in Taiwan for now.
POCO F3’s MIUI 12 update is available for the smartphone users only in China, Russia, Indonesia and India. While Redmi Note 9 5G’s update is available only in China. The MIUI updates are in the “stable Beta phase” which means that the updates are still being released in batches. The new update will eventually reach all the smartphones under Xiaomi that are eligible for this system upgrade.
