Motorola have just introduced the Moto G Stylus 2022 model in the US, also known as Moto G Stylus Gen 3. The model is the direct successor the 2021 model announced in January last year, and should not be confused with the 5G version, which was released back in June of same last year.

This model relies on a 4G-enabled Helio G88 CPU from MediaTek clocked at 2.0GHz, but arrives in same 6.8-inches FHD+ display, crowned by a Stylus Pen and a newer 90Hz refresh.

As far as design is concern, the rear camera module seems a little more modern than the 2021 model, and the left sided notch on that model has also moved to the middle top of the phone, which is also the home for it retained 16-megapixel selfie cam.

Aside the change of CPU from Qualcomm to MediaTek, camera specs got improved hardwares as well. Now you are getting three lenses on the rear, and the main driver is a 50-megapixel lens with F/1.9 aperture, while an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 5-megapixel macro with f/2.2 aperture on both lens are the new auxiliary shooters.

You are also getting new OS, which is now Google Android 11, plus a slight larger 5000mAh battery with 10W charger, instead of the 4000mAh unit on the succeeded model. Some of it retained specs includes a single Nano-SIM, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C.

The new Moto G Stylus (2022) is painted in Twilight Blue and Metallic Rose color. The single RAM and storage options (6GB RAM + 128GB ROM), is price at $299 in the US. The phone is currently on preorder, and will ship from February 17th.
