The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi’s brand POCO, has lifted the lid on the POCO M5s smartphone. This device released is the global version of the smartphone.
Xiaomi announced the POCO M5s, a smartphone that measures 160.46 x 74.5 x 8.29 mm and weighs about 178.8 grams. Under the hood, it houses a MediaTek Helio G95 2.05GHz octa-core chipset and has a 6.43-inch FHD + (2400 x 1080) screen, with an AMOLED display running at 60 Hz.
The POCO M5s is powered by a 5000mAh strong capacity battery that supports 33W fast charging using its USB Type-C port. According to Xiaomi, the smartphone will be available in Blue, Grey and White colors, all with black camera housings.
Speaking of the camera, the device sports a quad camera configuration. First, a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad main camera at the rear side, with a 13-megapixels F2.4 camera in front for selfies and video calls.
The POCO M5s offers a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal expandable storage, matching the POCO M5 4G model. More so, the device is also available with 128GB of storage that comes in 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM variants as well.
The POCO M5s runs on the Android 12 (MIUI 13 for POCO) OS version. It is equipped with dual stereo speakers and an earphone terminal. For security and privacy, it has a biometric authentication sensor on the side that supports fingerprint authentication, with face unlock too.

POCO M5s availability and pricing
Just as earlier mentioned the POCO M5s is available in Blue, Grey and White colors. It is released globally, and so will be available on the Aliexpress sales site. Pre-sale price will start at about 33,000 yen ($232.87) for the RAM 6GB/128GB model. Other model prices would be regulated once sales begin.
