Google Android 11 is just showing up as early developer preview, yet some phone makers are already flying confirmations on social media of their device getting official update of the OS when it is officially available for consumer use.  This confirmations is for the Poco X2, and came from Yah Gera, a Marketing and Communications executive in Poco India.

But why the hurry, even though full feature list of the Android 11 are not know yet? Well, these are mere marketing gimmicks aimed at maintaining buyers confidence on a long-run, and used majorly when better alternatives to a company’s offer are beginning to pop-out. Perhaps, the Poco India is already feeling threaten by few of her competitors offer, and trying to keep users buying her product even at the face of better options under the cover of promised Android 11.

The Poco X was launched as a re-branded Xiaomi Redmi K30 in India, and features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolutions and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a quad-camera setup at the with a combination of 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and another 2-megapixel macro lens.

The device has a dual-selfie camera of 20-megapixel main lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, shipped with a large 4500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with Android 10 out of the box.
