Redmi 13C Smartphone Launched with 90Hz Display, Android 13, and 50MP Camera

Xiaomi has officially announced the launch of its new Redmi 13C smartphone in Nigeria. The phone is a direct successor to the Redmi 12C, and it comes with some notable updates.

Starting from the screen, the display on the Redmi 13C is now 6.74 inches, up from the 6.71 inches on the 12C. It also has a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a significant improvement over the 60Hz refresh rate on the previous model.

The Redmi 13C also has a triple-lens rear camera system, with a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a depth sensor. The selfie camera has also been upgraded to 8MP, up from the 5MP sensor on the 12C.

In terms of performance, the Redmi 13C is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is the same processor that was used in the Redmi 12C. However, Xiaomi has increased the RAM options to 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB, and the storage options to 128GB and 256GB.

The Redmi 13C also runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box, which is a significant improvement over the Android 12 and MIUI 13 software that was used on the 12C.

Other features of the Redmi 13C include a 5000mAh battery, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It is also worth mentioning that the battery now support 18W fast charger.

The Redmi 13C is available in Nigeria now, starting at N98,100 for the 4GB/128GB model. The 6GB/128GB model costs N108,100, and the 8GB/256GB model costs N121,000.
