The standard Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G launched back in December of 2019 have just been upgraded to a newer version, now dubbed Redmi K30 5G Extreme Edition or Racing Edition. Everything remains same with older K30 5G version, but just like the name suggest, the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G is substituted for a newer and more powerful Snapdragon 768G SoC. As a result, the new comer bring about 15% faster CPU and GPU performance over the older CPU and is also the first SoC in the 7 series to have update-able GPU drivers.

Redmi K30 5G Extreme Edition is available in Mint, Blue, Red, Purple and White colors. The device will be available via jd.com starting from May 14th, and is priced at 1,999 yuan in China, translating to around $281 in United State Dollars.
