Samsung is not done yet, and the update is still rolling. Although, the focus were first on the premium wings of her smartphone. But with the premium devices already sorted out, Samsung has expanded the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 roll-out to its mid-range and sub-premium lineups, and now, it is the turn of the Galaxy A40 and the Samsung Galaxy A80 to taste the new alteration of Android 10.
The owners of the A40 are confirming new update firmware numbered BTB7 and BTB8. The One UI 2.0 for the Galaxy A40 comes in a 1.7GB size, and is bundled with March 2020 scurrility patch.
The Galaxy A80 on the other hand is also given the latest One UI update. But these come with BTC3 as the software version, but only available for the Indian market so far, with the possibility of other region joining the table soon. The update weighs in at 2.04 GB, but comes with February security patch.

Both the Galaxy A40 and the Galaxy A80 are Samsung’s products of early 2019. While the A40 was in the entry-level tie with a 5.9-inch and Exynos CPU, the A80 was more premium inclined, and it launched with Snapdragon 730 CPU and a massive 6.7-inch fullview display, thanks to it motorized pop selfie camera.
Both device came with Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box, which was based on Samsung OneUI 1.0, and if you own either of these device, you could simply check the software update section of your phone, perhaps, OneUI 2.0 could be lying there, waiting for you.
