The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G we’ve been expecting is finally official. This new Samsung smartphone has the model number SM-G780G and has been listed on the Samsung Sweden website. The latest version will be available in Cloud Navy, Cloud Mint, Cloud Lavender, and Cloud Red.
Samsung is making the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 the chipset all around the entire Galaxy S20 FE range, in both 4G and 5G models.
This smartphone was listed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage – a model with 8GB of RAM. Reportedly, 256GB of storage is going to be released later.
Last year, the Galaxy S20 FE was announced in two versions – a 4G version with an Exynos 990 processor and a 5G version with a Snapdragon 865 processor. This new version drops the Exynos 990 processor for a Snapdragon 865 chipset but skips the 5G modem.
There was a Snapdragon 865-powered Galaxy S20 FE with 5G because of the Qualcomm X55 modem and an Exynos 990-powered Galaxy S20 that tops out at 4G before now; it was also cheaper.
The new method right now is that no Exynos variant is on sale. You’ll have to pay extra for 5G round €700, whereas the 4G mannequin is predicted to price €630 in Germany.
Aside from the difference in Network velocity, the Galaxy S20 FE shares identical specs – the now-unified Snapdragon 865 processor, a 1080p decision, triple digital camera (0.5x-1x-3x), and a 6.5-inch Tremendous AMOLED with 120Hz refresh price, 4,500mAh battery, IP68 score, and a microSD card slot. Last, Samsung launched the phone with Android 10. We expect the new version will be launched with Android 11.
