Samsung will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE probably in the second half of this year. The news of this device has been in constants talks for the past few weeks now. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE device is said to be the successor to the commendable Galaxy S20 FE, which was released last year.
According to GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has its codename as R9. They also revealed information on the battery capacity of the upcoming Samsung smartphone. According to them, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
The battery inside the phone with model number EB-BG990ABY will have a rated capacity of 4,370mAh even though Samsung is going to market it as 4,500 mAh. This particular battery is associated with the Galaxy S21 FE because of the handset’s model number – SM-G990B.
According to previous reports, the Galaxy S21 FE will feature a similar design as the Galaxy S21. It will flaunt a 6.4-inch display with a centered punch-hole. Hence, it will measure 155.7 x 71.45 x 7.9mm in dimensions. In other words, it will be larger than the Galaxy S21 but smaller than its predecessor Galaxy S20 FE.
Also, note that the Samsung Galaxy S21 ships with a 4,000 mAh battery, unlike the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which has 4,370 mAh. It will also have a larger display at 6.4-inch rather than a 6.2-inch compared to its predecessor.
Additionally, the Galaxy S21 FE will sport the same 32MP selfie camera found on the Galaxy A52/A72. The phone will come with a plastic back in order to keep the cost down.
This brand-new smartphone will ship in five colors: grey/silver, pink, purple, green, and white. The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expected to go official at a Galaxy Unpacked event on the 19th of August.
