Sharp Aquos R7s announced with 1 inch camera sensor

Sharp also announced the Aquos R7s along with the Aquos V7 Plus in Indonesia. The phone is the global version of the initial Sharp R7 announced in Japan, and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

On the display front, the Sharp R7s has a 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED display with up to 240Hz dynamic refresh rate. The screen is a WUXGA+ panel, and it has 2730 x 1260 pixels and s dotted notch on the front.

The Aquos R7s comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a dual-lens rear camera system with a 47.2-megapixel main sensor and a 1.9-megapixel depth sensor. The front-facing camera is a 12.6-megapixel sensor.

The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging. It runs Android 13 out of the box. The phone also support an under-display biometric scanner, and it comes with both 4/5G standard connectivity option.

The Sharp Aquos R7s is available in two colors: Black and White. It is priced at 15,999,000 IDR, or about US$1064. The device will go on sales in Indonesia starting this July.
