Sharp has launched a new smartphone in the AQUOS line up dubbed the AQUOS V. The smartphone has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now and today it went official.
Sharp the Japanese based company has started releasing phones recently while still keeping an eye to their electronics production, the Sharp AQUOS V was actually launched in Taiwan. The company has been teasing the smartphone as their National Flagship.
The Sharp AQUOS V is priced at NT$6,990 in Taiwan, which roughly converts to $230. While the phone has now been launched in Taiwan, it is expected to be available in the Europe market pretty soon but no specific launch date is known yet.
For specs, it comes with a 5.93-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 powers the smartphone and it is paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity up to 256GB.
For photography, it comes with a dual rear cameras consisting of 13MP + 13MP, on the front there is an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies. There is also a 3.5mm head jack at the top and a rear mounted fingerprint reader.
3,126mAh battery gives the device energy and it comes with a USB Type-C, the USB Type-C doesn’t mean that it comes with a fast charging support though the company hasn’t specified this. The phone is running on Android 9 pie.
