The Indian market was the first to actually receive the Tecno Spark 7, a device which was announced via Amazon.in on the 9th of April. But this was only the vanilla model which has just 6.5-inches display and with 6000mAh battery. Some days later on, Tecno introduced the Spark 7P and Spark 7 Pro models with better overall specs and features, but only available outside India.
But now, Amazon India have confirmed that the Pro model of the Spark 7 series will debut in India on the 25th of May, which is Tuesday, next tomorrow. Since the Spark 7 Pro is available in other region, guessing the expected specs should not be much of a stress; so you can expect a 6.6-inches smartphone with a dot-notch screen, 720 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The smartphone is and will be equipped with a triple rear cameras which will include a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a third AI lens, while a single 8-megapixel sensor will be used on the front. The Spark 7 Pro will run on the latest HIOS 7.6 based on Android 11 and is backed by an Octa-Core Helio G80 processor with three storage options – 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB.
The Spark 7 Pro comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner to protect the data and privacy of the user and the model packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. The major aspect of the launch we are looking out for is how much Tecno will be pricing the Spark 7 Pro in India, which we will find out on the 25th of May.
