Android 12 has been around since the fourth quarter of 2021. But it has been used only on higher end and top-tier flagship smartphones. Today, TCL via Aliexpress announced her affordable 30 SE smartphone, a 6.52-inches device that is powered by Helio G25 from MediaTek.
The CPU is obviously not the key selling feature of the 30 SE, but the fact that TCL preloaded it with Google’s latest Android 12 OS out of the box. The device is available in three storage options, touching from 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, all the way to 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM, with the middle options being a 64GB ROM variant.
TCL did take time demoing the video capability of the 30 SE though! The camera configuration includes a 50-megapixel primary shooter with F/1.8 aperture and an LED flash, along with two other auxiliary lenses for macro and depth gymnastics respectively.
The 6.52-inches screen on the front has a 720p resolution, as well as a dewdrop notch on the head within which there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone has a rear placed fingerprint scanner, support dual 4G-SIMs, has NFC and powered by a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charger.

The TCL 30 SE is currently listed on Aliexpress in Space Gray and Atlantic Blue colors. Of the three storage options, the 4GB RAM with 64/128GB ROM will be premiered from February 26th to 27th at a discounted price of $149 and $159 US Dollars respectively.
