The all new Infinix S5 has been launched in Nigeria today, the smartphone is the successor of the Infinix S4 and ofcourse, there are quite a lot of noticeable features on the S5. It comes with a punch hole display that houses a 32MP camera and a quad rear camera setup.
Another lower version of it which is the Infinix S5 Lite was launched today as well, i think this one is for budget folks who can’t afford the standard S5 but wants to be part of the S5 team. So what actually is Lite about the Infinix S5 Lite?
Well, it now comes with a dual rear 13MP + 2MP cameras instead of the quad rear cameras on the standard S5, there is a 16MP selfie camera unlike the standard version which has a 32MP camera. It comes in 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM or 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM.
Is there any design difference? Yea! The S5 Lite comes in a glossy lustre back unlike the S5 which has a Crystal Feather back. Aside from all this that i have mentioned, the other features remains the same as the S5.
About pricing (which i know you are probably waiting for) First, the Infinix S5 comes in two configurations, the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM version is priced at N62,500. The 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM version is priced at N53,000 Naira.
On the other hand, the Infinix S5 Lite comes in two configurations also, the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM version is priced at N46,500 Naira where as the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM version is priced at N42,500 Naira. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting from November 19th.
