UMIDIGI announced via her social media handle few days ago, that she’ll be introducing few smartphones in the Bison GT2-series. Now, four of these phones has just been listed online, two of which are powered by Helio G96 CPU from MediaTek, while the other two has Dimensity 900 5G CPUs.

The list of the phones includes:

  • UMIDIGI GT2
  • UMIDIGI GT2 Pro
  • UMIDIGI GT2 5G and
  • UMIDIGI GT2 Pro 5G

UMIDIGI is still tagging these devices as coming soon, but their complete specification has been revealed online. As per the listing, the GT2 and GT2 Pro will be powered by MediaTek Helio G96. However, the duo will differ in color and storage capacity; Storm Gray vs Hack Black, and 128GB vs 256GB for the GT 2 and GT2 Pro respectively.

The same color and storage options above, will be available to the GT2 5G and the GT2 Pro 5G, except that these ones will be powered by a more stronger MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G CPU, and will offer WiFi 6 support.

Aside the above, the rest of the specs on all four phones remain same. All four variants will sport a 6.5-inches FHD+ IPS screen with 90Hz refresh rating and a dot-notch cutout in the middle.

Camera specs on all four are the same, as well; a 64-megapixel main shooter with F/1.8 aperture; 8-megapixel ultrawide with up to 117° FoV; then a third 5-megapixel 2.5cm macro snapper with f/2.4 aperture. You’ll also be getting Infrared Thermometer sensor and dual toned LED flash on the rear, while the selfie shooter is a single 24-megapixel sensor on all four.

These four phones are listed with Google’s Android 11 OS and a promised Android 12 update via OTA. Notably, the two Pro models offer better built materials than their non-pro counterpart. However, they are all IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G rated.

Battery capacity on all four comes from a 6150mAh unit with 18W fast charging. You are also getting a side mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a Hybrid Card trail. First sales will be premiered between February 21st to 25th at an introductory price of $299 US Dollars.
