Unihertz, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has just announced its latest addition to the smartphone market, the Unihertz Ticktock S. This latest offering is a mid-range Android smartphone that comes equipped with some impressive features and capabilities.
The Unihertz Ticktock S features a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340 x 1080) display and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833 2.2GHz octa-core CPU.
With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage capacity, this smartphone is designed to handle mid to heavy-duty tasks and multitasking with ease. The main camera is a 64-megapixel dual-camera setup, while the front-facing camera is a 32-megapixel shooter.
The fact remains that there are many rugged device out there with similar features and specs. But what sets the Unihertz Ticktock S apart from its competition is its 1.28-inch sub-display located on the rear.
This display allows you to check notifications, take selfies with the rear camera, display the clock, answer calls, and even customize the display according to your preferences.
The Unihertz Ticktock S is a 5G-compatible smartphone and comes with an IP68 rating, making it waterproof and dustproof. It also features a 5200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities at 30W, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The smartphone runs on Android 12 and it is painted in black color.
The phone’s 5200mAh battery will be held in a 14.3mm body, while the entire device will weigh 294 grams. Sales of the Unihertz Ticktock S will be premiered on Aliexpress from the 13th of February, but the recommended retail price is yet to be known.
