Gionee have just introduced a new smartphone in India dubbed Max Pro. The model is the successor to the vanilla Max announced back in 2020, and features a 6.52-inches HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass and a Dewdrop notch overhead.
The device’s brain power comes from a 1.6GHz Octa-Core Unisoc SC9863A processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB.
The device has dual cameras on the rear, and this includes a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfie, there is a single 8-megapixel lens within the notch upfront.
In summary, and aside the altered rear design, there are about four other areas the new Max Pro differs from the initial Gionee Max, and this includes:
- The larger display; 6.52 vs 6.1
- bigger battery: 6000mAh vs 5000mAh
- Better selfie: 8-megapixel selfie vs 5MP on the Max
- bigger RAM: 3GB RAM vs 2GB RAM
Aside the above, other specs remains virtually same, both phones has dual 4G LTE SIMs, has 32GB built-in storage and run Google Android 10 out of the box. The Gionee Max Pro comes in Black, Red and Blue colors. The model will be sold via Flipkart starting March 8th at Rs. 6,999.
