Vivo is gearing up to bring its latest flagship smartphones to India this July. The brand has already confirmed that the Vivo X200 FE will debut in Taiwan on June 23, followed by a separate Chinese unveiling for the X Fold 5 on June 25. According to a report from GSMArena, both devices are expected to arrive in the Indian market sometime between July 14 and July 19, with earlier rumors suggesting a slightly earlier timeline.

With the launch dates seemingly aligned across regions, Indian consumers can expect Vivo’s premium mid-range and foldable offerings to go official side by side.

Vivo X200 FE – A Compact Powerhouse

The Vivo X200 FE is no mystery by now. The device is essentially a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini, and its specifications align closely with that model.

The X200 FE boasts a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It maintains a compact and slim profile, weighing just 186 grams and measuring 7.99mm thick.

It will be available in four vibrant color options:

  • Black Luxe
  • Blue Breeze
  • Pink Vibe
  • Yellow Glow

Camera Setup:

Vivo is equipping this compact flagship with a versatile triple camera system:

  • 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS
  • 8MP ultra-wide lens
  • 50MP telephoto lens (Sony IMX882) with 3x optical zoom
  • 50MP front-facing selfie camera with autofocus—making it a first in Vivo’s X-series

The device will ship with Android 15 out of the box, layered with FunTouch OS 15, and it’s powered by a robust 6,500mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging.

Vivo X Fold 5 – Possibly the Slimmest Foldable Yet

The upcoming X Fold 5 is shaping up to be one of the slimmest and lightest foldables in the market. Vivo is packing the device with next-gen battery tech, including:

  • A 6,000mAh battery
  • 80W wired and 40W wireless charging
  • Fourth-gen silicon-carbon anode cells
  • Second-gen semi-solid-state battery design

This battery system is designed for extreme conditions and reportedly remains functional even in temperatures as low as -30°C.

Durability & Design:

Vivo is also emphasizing durability. The X Fold 5 will come with triple ingress protection, offering:

  • IPX8 for submersion resistance
  • IPX9+ protection against high-pressure water
  • IP5X for dust resistance

As for form factor, it will be even thinner and lighter than the X Fold 3 Pro, with an under-8.2mm folded thickness and about 20 grams less weight.

Final Thoughts

With the Vivo X200 FE targeting users who want flagship features in a compact form, and the X Fold 5 pushing the limits of foldable phone technology, Vivo is set to make a strong impression in the Indian premium smartphone segment. If the rumored July 14–19 launch window holds, we won’t have to wait long to see both of these devices in action.

Stay tuned for official confirmation and pricing details as we get closer to launch.
