Apple has already rolled out the iPhone 17 lineup, and Android makers are gearing up to follow. Vivo appears ready to lead the charge this month with the launch of the X300 and X300 Pro, both running on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 processor.
The Pro version has now been seen on the AnTuTu v11 benchmark, recording a total score of 4,011,932 points. Looking closer, the CPU achieved 1,043,247 while the GPU reached 1,510,982.
The Dimensity 9500 powering the device is based on four Cortex-X930 cores and four Cortex-A730 cores, making it a fully big-core design. Vivo has also announced a collaboration with Arm, confirming that the chip supports the SME2 instruction set.
The tested unit was the Vivo X300 Pro Satellite Communication Edition, essentially confirming satellite connectivity for the model. This version was also recently listed on China’s 3C certification site with 90W wired charging support.
Vivo is reportedly preparing two versions of the X300 Pro — one with satellite communication and another without it. The satellite-enabled edition could be limited to a high-end configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Vivo X300 Pro Expected Specifications
The X300 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Camera hardware may include a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera with OIS.
Powering the device is expected to be a 6,500mAh battery. Alongside 90W wired charging, it will also support 30W wireless charging.
To further enhance imaging capabilities, Vivo is said to be equipping the X300 Pro with its custom V3 and VS1 image processing chips.
