Xiaomi has begun rolling out its Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 to global markets. This new 27 inch monitor is designed for gamers who want smooth visuals, quick response times, and solid color accuracy without paying a premium price. It arrives shortly after the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27Qi 2026 and targets a more affordable segment while still delivering competitive gaming features.
The G27i 2026 is built around a 27 inch Fast IPS LCD panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. It supports refresh rates of up to 200Hz in supported modes, along with a 1ms GTG response time when the Ultrafast setting is enabled. According to Xiaomi, this setup helps minimize motion blur and ghosting during fast paced gameplay. Interestingly, the official specifications list the refresh rate at up to 165Hz, which suggests the 200Hz mode may depend on specific configurations or input conditions.
The display offers wide 178 degree viewing angles and delivers a typical brightness of 250 nits. Peak brightness can reach 400 nits, allowing the monitor to qualify for VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. This helps improve contrast and visibility in both bright and dark scenes. The static contrast ratio is rated at 1000:1.
Color accuracy is another strong point. The monitor is factory calibrated with Delta E values below 2 and covers 100 percent of the sRGB color space along with 95 percent of DCI P3. It supports 8 bit color depth and can display up to 16.7 million colors, making it suitable not only for gaming but also for media consumption and light creative work.

For smoother gameplay, the G27i 2026 supports FreeSync Premium and is also marked as compatible with G Sync. These technologies help reduce screen tearing and stutter when frame rates are inconsistent. Eye comfort features include TÜV Low Blue Light certification and DC dimming, which helps reduce flicker during extended use.
The monitor features a slim bezel design and comes with a stand that supports tilt adjustment from minus 5 degrees to plus 15 degrees. It is also compatible with 75 × 75 mm wall mounts. Navigation is handled through a joystick style control button. In terms of connectivity, it includes one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and a DC power input. Power consumption goes up to 36W, and the monitor weighs 3.6 kg with the stand attached.
Pricing & availability
The Xiaomi Gaming Monitor G27i 2026 is priced at SGD 199, which is roughly equivalent to 157 US dollars, in Singapore.
