Can you still remember that sometime in August, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, announced the Xiaomi POCO M4 5G smartphone in the market. Poco has officially unveiled the M5 and M5s; two new 4G smartphones, today. They are cheaper alternatives to its 5G devices.

This new Poco M5 4G smartphone, unlike the most recent M4 5G, arrives with the 4G network compatibility, so we do not expect extremely advanced devices features.
The Poco M5 4G smartphone has a 6.58-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a 90Hz refresh rate display, and uses LCD technology, which is noteworthy given its price range. It also features a leather-like exterior.
The MediaTek Helio G99 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU and 4GB to 6GB of RAM power the Poco M5 4G smartphone. The internal storage capacity carries a 64GB/128GB space, which can be expanded up to 512GB using an SD-card.
Coming to the power enabling cell of the smartphone, the device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, like many other devices, and, for entry-level needs, it has an 18W rapid charge technology that is a bit slower than that of the brand’s other devices.
Coming to the camera, the Poco M5 4G has a 50-megapixel main camera module with a wide-angle f/1.8 lens, a 2-megapixel macro module with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In front, it has a 5-megapixel camera lens for taking selfies and video calling.
The Poco M5 4G offers the Android 12 (MIUI 13 for POCO) OS, has biometric authentication sensor located on the side, which supports fingerprint authentication, and there is face authentication feature too. The connection points are USB-type C and an earphone jack.
