Xiaomi have just confirmed that the upcoming Redmi 10x-series will debut in China on the 26th of May, and among various features and specifications expected, the latest Mediatek Dimensity 820 SoC with 5G network top the chat. In the words of Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi 10X-series, which will include the vanilla Redmi 10x without 5G, and the Redmi 10X Pro 5G edition, will be focused towards providing flagship performance, and should be affordably as well.

Talking about performance, Redmi China General Manager, Lu Weibing said that the 5G smartphone in the new X series with Dimensity 820 (probably referring to the 10x Pro), will live up to expectations just like the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Interestingly, the teased Antutu score below indicates that the Redmi 10X-series will not only out-perform the Note 8 Pro, but will also leave many dusts on the faces of many premium and highly priced devices currently in the market.
The 10x-series made it across 400k effortlessly on Antutu benchmark as shown in the image. As for the outer painting, the device will be available in 4 color options, which will include Blue, White, Violet and Gold. The Redmi 10X and the 10x Pro are both rumored to come with a 48-megapixel main snapper, although, there will be triple rear lenses on the former while the later will have quad-lens at the back.
