Just as promised, Xiaomi has officially unveiled it Redmi 7 and the Redmi Note 7 in Nigeria, with pricing starting at just N42,000 Nigeria currency, and will be available both via online resellers and in stores across the country.

The version of the Note 7 launched in the country is the Global version, which comes with a massive 48 megapixel main sensor, along with a 12 megapixel secondary sensor.

The display is a large 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 1.95mm narrow bezels, 81.37% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with MIUI 10 on top.

The Nigeria version of the Redmi Note 7 features same Aura design as the Redmi Note 7 Pro with a glass back, using 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The smartphone also features P2i nano coating making it splashproof incase of minor water accident, has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and packs a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 for 18W fast charging. But note that only 10W charger is included in the package.

Along with the Note 7, Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi 7 in Nigeria, a phone that was announced in India on the day before. The major selling point of the Redmi 7 is the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 CPU, Android 9.0 and a large 6.26 inch HD+ display, with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution.

The device comes with a 12 + 2 MP dual main camera, and a single 8 megapixel front-facing camera, with storage option of up to 64 GB. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and provides a large 4000mAh out of the box.

Another most recent smartphone from Xiaomi available in the country, is the Redmi Go, which comes with respectable 5 inch display with 720p resolution, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). The device already has been on sale in the country via Jumia, and priced at just N22,000 Nigeria Naira.
