The Redmi 9-series are expected to go official in Nigeria on the 29th of July, 2020. There are currently three smartphones in the Redmi 9-series; this includes the standard Redmi 9, which comes in a 6.53-inch display, packs 4-camera lenses at the back, and powered by the Mediatek Helio G80 CPU.
The other two variant of the series includes the Redmi 9C which has a triple rear camera and come with Mediatek Helio G35, and even a more cheaper Redmi 9A, with Helio G25 and a single rear camera sensor.
Even though these devices are different in one way or the other, they all offer a fairly large 6.53-inch display with waterdrop notch above the screen, run Android 10 out of the box, and spot above 5000mAh battery.
As for the launch event, we are not sure if the trio will make it to Nigeria on that 29th of July, and while the Redmi 9A will be the most affordable among the trio, it will be nice to see the main Redmi 9 among the list, as it may be the best option for many.
