Xiaomi brand has been working hard to make sure that the budget market is properly served with lots of value, last week, xiaomi announced there will be a successor to the redmi note 7 and note 7 pro which was released this year and guess what? It is the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 packs the most adorable camera found on midrange smartphones, it has a whooping 48mega pixels rear camera.
It also has a pro model which is the redmi note 8 pro which packs whooping 64 mega pixels rear camera, the redmi note 8 and the note 8 pro has already been launched in China and will be launched today in India at a price cost of Rs. 10,000 equivalent to $130 for redmi note 8 and R.s 13,000 equivalent to $180 for the redmi note 8 pro.
The xiaomi redmi note 8 runs on snapdragon 665 chipset based on 11nm and has eight kryo cores in which four is clocking at 2.2ghz and the other four clocking at 1.8ghz.
The redmi note 8 comes in three configurations, one has 4gb ram and 64gb rom, 6gb ram and 64gb rom and 6gbram and 128gb rom.
It packs a quad rear cameras which are 64mp main shooter, 8mp ultra wide, 2mp dedicated micro lens and 2mp depth sensing camera with a front facing camera of 13mp.
The xiaomi redmi note 8 has a 6.3 IPS LCD water drop notch display which has a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels.
It has 4000mah battery, USB c port which supports 18w charging, 3.5mm head jack and pretty much other basics features.
The redmi note 8 pro on the other hand runs on mediatek G90t which makes it the first smartphone to run on mediatek new soc platform, like it’s younger brother, it comes in two configurations which are, 6/8 gb ram and 64/128gb rom, it has 4500mah battery with a charging speed of 18w.
The redmi note 8 pro comes with a liquid cooling chamber to help cool the device in high gaming temperature, it has quad camera set up which are, 64 mp main camera, 8mp ultra wide, 2mp dedicated micro lens and 2mp depth sensor with 20mp selfie shooter.
It has higher display size unlike its sibling, meaning that it has a 6.5 FULL HD+ IPS LCD display unlike its sibling which has 6.3 inches.
You can easily different the redmi note 8 from redmi note 8 pro physically because the redmi note 8 has its camera vertically setup at the side of the smartphone while the redmi note 8 pro has its camera vertically setup at the center of the smartphone.
