Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s with Snapdragon 720G arrives in Nigeria

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G has finally arrived in Nigeria. It is the international version of the Note 9 Pro launched in China back in March of 2019. The device is available in multiple colors, including Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Gray, and come with N89,000 price tag in Nigeria.

At the above price, you are getting a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ display with IPS LCD panel. The display has a centered punch-hole housing the selfie camera, thankfully increasing the device’ screen-to-body ratio a little above 84%. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 9s runs the aforementioned Snapdragon 720G CPU, an octa-core chip running at 2.3GHz, along with Adreno 618 GPU.

The internal storage is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSDXC, while there is either 64/128 GB on the inside, pegged with 4/6 GB of RAM. There is MIUI 11 based on the Android 10, with possible future update to MIUI 12. On the optics, there are four sensors at the back, and a single sensor upfront.

At the back, you having a 48-megapixel primary lens, 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel macro sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor along with dual LED flash. For the front, there is a 16-megapixel in-display selfie shooter upfront.

As for pricing, the Redmi Note 9s is priced at N78,900 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage will set you back at N88,900 in Nigeria. The device should be available via online and offline stores starting next week.
