After a long wait, Xiaomi has begun delivering its newest HyperOS version to its flagship phones in India. While the HyperOS 3 update had already reached users in global markets, owners of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India are now officially receiving the rollout.
HyperOS 3 Reaches Xiaomi 15 Series in India: Here’s What’s New
Xiaomi confirmed through its official X account that HyperOS 3 is now being pushed to the Xiaomi 15 lineup. This covers both the standard Xiaomi 15 and the top end Xiaomi 15 Ultra. For reference, Xiaomi initially started rolling out HyperOS 3 worldwide toward the end of October.

The company followed that global rollout with an OTA update last month. More recently, Xiaomi teased the arrival of its Android 16 based HyperOS 3 interface in India with a “coming soon” teaser. Now that the update is finally here, users can expect the following improvements:
A redesigned interface with smoother animations and better overall performance
The introduction of Xiaomi’s new Hyper Island experience
A more intelligent Gallery app and upgraded AI utilities
Improved compatibility with Apple devices
Stronger security protections
In other news, POCO has also announced its HyperOS 3 rollout schedule along with the list of supported devices. The brand additionally unveiled several new products powered by HyperOS, including the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M40 and a smart car humidifier.
