Apple Announces iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with Enhanced Display, iOS 17 and Apple’s A16 Bionic

Apple today announced the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, the latest additions to its popular smartphone lineup. The new phones feature a number of upgrades over their predecessors, including a more powerful A16 Bionic chip, a brighter display, and a new USB-C port.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus both feature a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, respectively. The displays are now up to 2000 nits brighter, making them easier to see in direct sunlight. The phones also have a new Cinematic mode for video recording, which automatically adjusts the focus as people or objects move in and out of the frame.

Under the hood, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are powered by the A16 Bionic chip, which is a 4nm process. The chip is said to be up to 12% faster than the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 14. The phones also come with iOS 17, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system.

In terms of design, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are similar to their predecessors. The phones have a flat-edge design and a stainless steel frame. They are also IP68-rated for water and dust resistance.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in four colors: black, blue, green, and pink. They will start at $799 and $899, respectively. The phones will be available for pre-order on September 16 and will go on sale on September 23.
