A recent discovery within the iOS 26 beta has shed light on the display specifications of Apple’s next Watch Ultra. According to a report by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris, the forthcoming model is expected to feature a display resolution of 422 x 514 pixels.
For comparison, both the original and second-generation Watch Ultra models come with 1.92-inch screens and a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. This increase in pixel count suggests that the new Watch Ultra will likely have a slightly larger 1.98-inch screen, possibly achieved by reducing the bezel size rather than altering the overall design.

Apple is anticipated to retain the same design language as the earlier Ultra models, but new features are rumored to be in the works. These include satellite-based messaging capabilities and 5G RedCap support, which is a specialized network solution designed for wearables. Additionally, the Watch Ultra 3 is expected to introduce a new blood pressure monitoring feature.
