Poco introduced the Poco M7 back in March, and now, the Xiaomi sub-brand is gearing up to launch the M7 Plus model later this month. While Poco has yet to release the full specifications of the upcoming device, it has officially confirmed details about the battery capacity and the market segment it will target.

A promotional page on Poco’s official Indian website has revealed that the Poco M7 Plus will be equipped with a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery, claiming it to be the “largest battery in its category.” Specifically, Poco is referring to the under INR 15,000 price range (approximately $170/€145).

Though the brand hasn’t disclosed the phone’s charging speed, ongoing rumors suggest that the Poco M7 Plus could be a rebadged version of the Redmi 15 5G. If these reports hold true, the device might offer 33W wired fast charging.

As for other specifications, leaks hint that the M7 Plus will come with a 6.9-inch Full HD+ LCD panel supporting a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Camera-wise, the phone may sport a 50-megapixel main rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Additionally, the handset is likely to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking.
