Infinix has just announced the Play model in its Hot 30 series, offering a 6.8-inch screen, Helio G37 CPU, and a surprising Google Android 13 OS right out of the box. The device is the direct successor to the Hot 20 Play, and it is now on sale in some African countries, including Nigeria.
The device is given a 6.8-inches HD+ screen with a center notch. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels as well as a 90Hz refresh rating. The aforementioned Helio G37 CPU is backed by PowerVR GE8320 GPU, along with 4GB RAM and either 64/128GB ROM.
Coming to the camera specifications, the Infinix Hot 30 Play is given two lenses on the rear. These include a 16-megapixel primary sensor along with an Ai depth sensor. For a selfie, there is a singular 8-megapixel lens held within the dotted notch on the front.
Surprisingly, Infinix decided to preload the Hot 30 Play with Google Android 13 OS out of the box, which is based on XOS 12.6. Also, the model is powered by a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charger. It has an a sided fingerprint scanner, and is available in a total of three vibrant colors.

The Hot 30 Play is available in Mirage Black, Blade White, and Bora Purple colors. It is already in sales in some African countries. In Nigeria for example, the higher storage option with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM is pegged at N93,000.
