Xiaomi has officially confirmed the upcoming launch of Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro models, along with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, in China on April 18th.
The company has also shared images of the tablets in three different colors, revealing exciting features such as a large screen, support for a keyboard dock, and a stylus.
One of the key highlights of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series is the impressive display technology. Xiaomi has confirmed that the tablets will feature a 2.8K 144Hz refresh rate screen with exceptional color accuracy and hardware-level low blue light eye protection.
The devices have also received dual eye protection certification, ensuring a safe viewing experience for users. In terms of performance, Xiaomi has revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, while the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
These powerful processors are expected to deliver smooth and lag-free performance, making the tablets ideal for gaming and multimedia consumption.
Xiaomi has also shared that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro achieved an impressive average frame rate of “58.7fps” in the popular game Genshin Impact even after 30 minutes of gameplay.
Battery life is another area where Xiaomi has focused on the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. The tablet will boast a massive 8600mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
Xiaomi claims that the new deep sleep mode in the tablet will allow for a sleep standby time of up to 47.9 days, making it convenient for users who require long battery life on the go.
In terms of design, leaked information from Digital Chat Station suggests that the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will feature a metal body, USB 3.0 connectivity, fingerprint scanner, and a 50MP main camera. The tablets are also expected to come with ample storage options of up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage.
