The Lava Blaze Dragon will debut in India in July, according to an official confirmation from Lava. Alongside this, the company also announced the upcoming launch of the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 within the same month. While the specific launch date for the Blaze AMOLED 2 is yet to be revealed, details regarding the Blaze Dragon’s release date, design, and availability have been shared. In addition, several leaked reports have outlined the expected features of the Blaze Dragon.
Lava Blaze Dragon India Launch
According to a live Amazon webpage, the Lava Blaze Dragon will debut in India on July 25 at 12 p.m. IST. This indicates that the phone will be sold through the Amazon platform. Promotional material shows the phone in a golden finish, featuring a rectangular dual camera setup on the back. It will include a 50 megapixel AI-enhanced main rear camera.
Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) has leaked live images and the major specifications of the Lava Blaze Dragon. The images reveal a black color variant with a rainbow-tinted camera module. According to the tip, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and come with 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is expected to run on stock Android 15.
Another leak, this time from X user Pratik Tandon (@pratik_tandon), suggests that the Lava Blaze Dragon could be offered in two RAM and storage options: 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB. For selfies, it may include an 8 megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is also tipped to feature a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W wired charging.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 Launch Details
The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 is also likely to be introduced in India around the same time as the Blaze Dragon. It is anticipated to be the Blaze AMOLED 5G’s replacement. The previous model was equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 5000mAh battery supporting 33W wired fast charging, a 6.67 inch 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, and a dual rear camera setup led by a 64 megapixel main sensor.
