The Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro are gearing up for their official debut in China later today. Just ahead of the launch, Oppo has disclosed key specifications of the new K-series smartphones. It is anticipated that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset will power the K13 Turbo Pro. Both models are set to offer up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 512GB of internal storage. Alongside these devices, Oppo will also introduce a K13 Turbo Super Cooling Kit.
Oppo K13 Turbo Pro Scores 2.45 Million on AnTuTu
Oppo has verified that the K13 Turbo Pro will include the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU, based on teasers posted on Weibo. According to reports, it received a benchmark score of 2.45 million on AnTuTu. Oppo stated that during a gaming session at 30°C, the device maintained an average frame rate of 53.5fps, outperforming devices using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Meanwhile, the standard Oppo K13 Turbo will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset.
In terms of configurations, the Oppo K13 Turbo will be available in three variants: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The Pro model will also include a version with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Oppo K13 Turbo Series to Feature Cooling Fan and Accessories
The K13 Turbo lineup will include built-in fans for active cooling. Oppo is also launching a Super Cooling Set kit that features a magnetic case. This case enables the attachment of external cooling fans for better heat dissipation during demanding usage. The external fan setup includes RGB lighting for a visual effect.
According to reports, both K13 Turbo variants have water resistant certifications of IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9. The basic K13 Turbo will be offered in Darth Vader, Knight White, and Purple colors, while the Pro model will be offered in Darth Vader, Knight Silver, and Purple.
The official launch event for the Oppo K13 Turbo series is scheduled for 2:30pm local time in China, which is 12pm IST, on July 21. Both smartphones are expected to feature 6.8 inch LTPS displays with a resolution of 1.5K. They might sport dual rear cameras, including a 50 megapixel main sensor, along with a 16 megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.
