Lenovo’s tablet range is always worth paying attention to. There’s the Xiaoxin Pad series, as well as the Legion lineup aimed at gamers. Depending on where you are, names and specifications might differ. This time, we have the new Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT, featuring a fresh design, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, an 11.1-inch display, and some updated system features. It looks like a device that could meet most people’s needs and remain useful for years. If you are already tempted, GeekWills currently has it on promotion.
Let’s start with a quick unboxing. The tablet comes in a stylish white box. Inside, you’ll find the tablet itself, a 68W charger, and a 1-meter USB-C to USB-C cable. This unit did not include the case and keyboard, but Lenovo’s official accessories are usually of high quality, so it’s worth considering them for a better experience.
I wasn’t too fond of the design of the previous Xiaoxin Pad models — they were a bit plain and too box-shaped, which made them less comfortable to hold. The Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT changes that completely. It is thin, light, and has rounded edges. To give you an idea of how slim it is, the tablet is only slightly thicker than its USB-C port. Its size is similar to the 11-inch iPad Air, and the weight is also comparable.
Turning to the back, the design might remind you of another device. Yes, it resembles the Samsung S25 Edge. Whether or not the design is inspired by others doesn’t really matter to me — it looks great and that’s what counts. The softened edges feel good in hand, and at the front, there are thin, uniform bezels all around. On a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate its design?
Powering the tablet is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, though this is a six-core version, which means it’s slightly toned down compared to the full version, offering performance just above the 8s Gen 3. Benchmark results still show it as a capable performer, so we tested it with Genshin Impact. While there’s no dedicated gaming hub, it handled the game well enough — though it’s clear this tablet isn’t built specifically for gaming.

Daily Use Experience
An 11-inch device isn’t ideal for long gaming sessions anyway — that’s where Lenovo’s Legion tablets come in. The Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT is designed to be more versatile, covering everyday use and work needs.
Now, about the display:
11.1-inch LCD panel
16:10 aspect ratio
Resolution of 3200 x 2000
Refresh rate up to 144Hz
When watching videos, colors are vivid and details are sharp. The display reaches 700 nits brightness in normal use and up to 900 nits in bright sunlight. It also carries TUV certification for eye protection.
There are two dedicated eye care modes. In color mode, the colors remain but appear softer; in black-and-white mode, everything is displayed in grayscale. You can set either mode permanently or assign them to specific apps, such as using black-and-white mode for reading to reduce eye strain.
Two key elements enhance the overall user experience: PC mode and the accessories. Starting with the case, it is made of PU leather, attaches magnetically, and can be positioned at multiple angles for watching videos, drawing, or working. The keyboard connects via pins, includes all standard keys along with arrow keys, and even features a trackpad.
PC mode offers a desktop-like interface different from the standard ZUI skin. It looks similar to Windows, and when paired with the keyboard and stylus, it becomes even more practical than a laptop thanks to touch control. Most apps work the same as in tablet mode, but you gain two big advantages: the ability to arrange and resize apps freely, and a slimmer bottom bar that still keeps your open apps within reach. The only drawback is there’s no quick switch between tablet and PC mode.
AI features are also part of the package. The built-in AI assistant, Tianxi, works alongside DeepSeek, although both currently operate in Chinese. The generative AI can pull information from the web while you are editing, though it’s not always accurate. In the browser, AI can explain, translate, or summarize articles, and it can also work within documents and files.
Battery capacity is 8660mAh, which is large for its size. Paired with the 68W charger, it can easily handle a full day’s use.

Verdict
The Xiaoxin Pad Pro GT is an excellent tablet option with a well-balanced size, much-improved design, and a capable PC mode. While the interface may not suit everyone’s taste, the combination of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, quality accessories, and strong display make it a great choice for both work and entertainment.
