A new version of UMIDIGI’s Bison series, dubbed the Bison Pro is now official. The device is the 4th iteration in the series, in addition to the standard Bison, Bison 2021 and the Bison GT model. Unlike these other models, the Bison Pro stands out with a redesign camera model, and Helio G80 CPU CPU, instead of the predominant Helio P60 Chipset.
Despite the change in design and CPU, the phone still retains it core strength, which is ruggedness. To this end, the Bison Pro is both IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified. Assisting the aforementioned Helio G80 CPU is either 6/8GB RAM paired with 128GB of built-in storage.
As for the camera departments; three snappers are housed on the rear, and this includes a 48-megapixel 1/2” image sensor, F/1.8 aperture and 6-element lens, along with a 16-megapixel super wide lens with up to 117° FoV and a 5-megapixel macro snapper. You also get a single LED flash and UMIDIGI’s Infrared Thermometer sensor on the rear as well.
The device support either a single SIM + SD-card, or a dual Nano-SIM without SD-card. It also has a left-side fingerprint scanner, and support Global LTE network band. The phone itself comes in a 6.3-inches FHD+ notch display, and it is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charger and the latest Google Android 11 out of the box.
