Oppo has officially announced that the Find X9 Ultra will launch globally later this year, marking an important expansion for its Ultra series. The confirmation came during the company’s media briefing at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, where executives emphasized the phone’s strong focus on advanced mobile photography.

The Find X9 Ultra will be the first Ultra model from Oppo to be released outside China. Branded with the tagline Built to Be Your Next Camera, the device highlights an upgraded imaging system developed in partnership with Hasselblad. According to Oppo representatives, the new Ultra is intended to raise the bar for smartphone photography. Full details regarding specifications, pricing and regional availability are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra specifications rumored

Based on current reports, the Find X9 Ultra may feature a 6.82 inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution, similar to the previous generation. Early prototype units are said to support a 144Hz refresh rate, though the final retail model will likely settle at 120Hz.

In terms of cameras, the device is rumored to include a quad rear setup consisting of a 200 megapixel primary sensor, a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens, a 200 megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera, and another 50 megapixel periscope lens. On the front, it may offer a 50 megapixel selfie camera.

Powering the device is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The battery capacity is tipped to be around 7050mAh, slightly below the 7500mAh unit in the Find X9 Pro but larger than the 6100mAh battery used in the Find X8 Ultra. Charging support could include 80W wired and 50W wireless speeds.
