According to a fresh leak from trusted tipster Digital Chat Station, Oppo is currently working on its next-gen foldable smartphone the Oppo Find N6 which is anticipated to launch in the first quarter of 2026. Although official announcements are yet to be made, anticipation is building thanks to the strong performance and reception of its predecessor, the Find N5.
Design and Features Outlook
While the exact hardware details of the Find N6 have not yet been revealed, it is expected that Oppo will continue its emphasis on sleek form factor, high-quality displays, enhanced camera capabilities, and robust build quality.
When the Find N5 launched in February 2025 at a price of 8,999 Yuan (~$1,255), it was promoted as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone at the time — a record recently surpassed by the Honor Magic V5, which debuted in China. The Oppo Find N5 came with an 8.12-inch inner foldable screen and was the first foldable phone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, it became the first foldable to earn IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance ratings, further solidifying its durability credentials.
What to Expect from the Find N6
With a projected launch in early 2026, the Find N6 is expected to deliver improvements in display technology, battery efficiency, camera performance, and overall durability. Based on a previous leak from DCS, the N6 is rumored to be thinner, lighter, and more adaptable compared to its predecessor.
It is also likely to debut as the first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Oppo is expected to refine essential features while maintaining the premium design language introduced with the N5.
As of now, there are reports suggesting Oppo is also developing a book-style foldable, but there is no confirmed information regarding a flip phone release in 2026.
